My friend has relocated for a job opportunity. He tried to get Sammie adopted and has had no success. His only option was to surrender her to the Griffin Road shelter.
We could not allow this as she will be heartbroken and we could not risk her being put down.
Sammie is in foster home and we will continue the search in finding her a home.
Her foster Mom writes... "this is my first experience with a Rottweiler and it has been a great ride, and I want only the best for her.
She is trained.
Commands she knows: sit, stay, walk, down, do your business, tinkle and go to your house. She does not enter the master bedroom stands by the door.
House broken
Holds a donut by the door when she wants to go. No accidents to date.
Very healthy, vet record available and shows all the signs of a dog who has been loved and is a great companion.
She lives with me amongst my 2 year old and eight year old. I have had no indications that I should be concerned and there has not been any destructive activity.
Her previous owner nor I had any other pets so I do not know about her co-existence capability.
She is spayed. I believe she is approximately 90 lbs.
Sammie came from a home of love, she is definitely in a home of love now, I would like her to end up in a home of love.
You must fill out an online adoption application.
