SADIE:
I am 3 1/2 years old and when I was 1 year old, my first family lost their home, job and had to relocate and they could not take me with them. They contacted Yoly.
At that time Yoly had a great man who lived in the Florida keys, he adopted me in July 2009.
!!! What a wonderful 2 years with my new Dad !!!
Two weeks ago, he called Yoly again and told her that he needed to bring me back to GGARR. Yoly asked him WHY, he just said crying "Yoly, I have terminal pancreatic cancer and I am dying. I don't have any one to take care of my SADIE and I know you will get her a great home again."
We met at Mueller Animal Hospital. He got on the lobby's floor, hugged SADIE and began to cry and cry.
We all cried!, even the clients who were there.
When he left, I was devastated, but Yoly held my head and told me, "SADIE don't be sad, I promise you another great home."
That happened yesterday, September 10, 2011. A good friend of Yoly, great friend of the Guardian Angels and a GRC member, had lost the female Rottie she adopted from GGARR 7 years ago from cancer couple of months ago.
She came to the clinic and loved SADIE the minute she saw her and took her home.
My job is done again, SADIE has a new Forever Home with her wonderful new family.
Thank you God.
