GUARDIAN   ANGEL

It may sound ridiculous,  but it is right on time.
We  believe that something is  about to happen.  Angels exist, only  sometimes they  haven't got wings and we call them friends.

FIRELADY
went to Rainbow Bridge
in June 2007

Grace,
Our beautiful girl Firelady crossed the Bridge yesterday (Thursday June 28) morning. Butch and I were with her.

Our vet discovered a massive growth in her abdomen last Tuesday (19th). On Wednesday (June 27) her lymph nodes (neck) had started to swell. She still wanted to eat, but you could see it was beginning to be a little difficult....it broke our hearts to think she was hungry, as we promised her many many years ago she would never know what it was like to be hungry again. When our vet examined her again Thursday morning the tumor in her abdomen had increased in size significantly since the week before and he said it was time....but Lady had already told us Wednesday evening she was ready.
I've attached one of the last pictures taken of Lady, it was taken during our last camping trip. Lady loved to camp and enjoyed walking around the camp grounds meeting people.

Lady lived a long happy life and has been the love of our life since she we adopted her in February 1998. Losing Lady has left us with a huge void in our hearts, but we know she is free of all pain and discomfort now....she is once again romping with her sister Taser, who went to the Bridge a few years ago, and with all the other Rotties.

Thank you Grace for rescuing Firelady and allowing her to become an important part of our lives...the love and joy she brought to our lives and to our family will forever be in our hearts.

Our love to you,
Juleen and Butch
