GUARDIAN   ANGEL

It may sound ridiculous,  but it is right on time.
We  believe that something is  about to happen.  Angels exist, only  sometimes they  haven't got wings and we call them friends.

NITRO  good with cats!!! ADOPTED 7/07

Dog
Rottweiler

Size: Medium
Age: Young, about a year old
Sex:  male
I.D:

Notes:

NITRO:
I have heard my family saying I was the run of my litter, maybe because of that, I never had any attention or love.

I was neutered, got all my shots. My rescuer took me to her Condo to stay with her CAT and her PAPILLON, >>I love them<<
She soon received a letter from her HOA, they don't allow dogs over 30 lbs there.
Then, she called GGARR and now I am waiting for my new Forever home.
I am 1 1/2 years old and weight 75 lbs, I was very skinny, but I am gaining weight and feel great.
I am a lap dog, extremely sweet and loving, I AM HOUSEBROKEN and I am not going to be too big.
Please, come to meet me, I know you will love me.

GGARR IS A PURINA PRO PLAN RALLY TO RESCUE AMBASSADOR

AND NOW HIS NEW MOM WRITES...

Hello Dear Friends, and daughter:
I am thrilled to let you know that Nitro is feeling right at home.  Saturday he 'tested the waters' with Booboo.  As you all know she's old, overweight (needs kitty weight watchers) and set on her ways.  Nitro saw her and went to meet his new play mate - or so he thought - she took off running and he took after her.  I could almost see the "Oh, She likes to play" look in his eyes and the "What in the world is this?" in Booboo's eyes.  I quickly intervened and settled things down.
The rest of Saturday was very uneventful.  He did not want to eat, but drank plenty of water.  We left the dry food out and prayed that he would eat some.  Sunday morning after mass - remembering what the vet's assistant had said about a little can food - I made a mad dash to get some.  He really liked that!  My plan is to mix the can with the dry and wean him off the canned little by little.
Yesterday we had a ball!  He has discovered all the toys and has decided he much rather play in the living room than in the Florida room.  There is one toy (a snowman with an annoying "ohhhhhh it's colddddd outsidddddeeee") he does not like at all!  He was playing with it and as soon as he heard the noise he left it alone!
At night, after we had played and 'Daddy' had settled down in front of the TV, he looked around, decided he was tired and went inside the crate all by himself. He fell asleep and we closed the door until this morning.  We took him outside and had breakfast - still not eating much. When it was time for us to go to work we put him inside the crate and he settled down.
Maria, the lady who takes care of my Mom, told me he was a sweetheart! She talked to him, and he just loved her.  When I came home we went outside and played for a while.  He has been running and acting very happy, I can tell he feels right at home.
We are all thrilled to have Nitro with us, and he us - his forever home and family.
Again, to all of you, thank you for your love and support.
I will keep you all updated.  : D
All my love,
Nora/Mom

and his new owners write...

Yoly:
Just a quick note.  It's almost 7 a.m. and I must go to work but I did not want to go without sending you this photo.
We were having breakfast this morning when Jim said: "We are so lucky Nitro found us",  my sentiments exactly.   He is a joy.
Thank you for making our adoption possible.
Love,
Nora
