GUARDIAN   ANGEL

It may sound ridiculous,  but it is right on time.
We  believe that something is  about to happen.  Angels exist, only  sometimes they  haven't got wings and we call them friends.

MISS.  LOLA

This pretty, young and loving Rottie was found almost dead because of the heat. This is what had happened.

She was lost and started walking and walking in the heat, until she could walk no more.

A car passed driven by a Veterinarian and his son next to him.

The son spotted the dog and called his father attention.

Great thing he was a Vet. He stopped the car, got water from a near place and soaked her, because her temperature was high.

He placed her on his car and took her to the Clinic he works.

Thanks God for that, she owes her live to Dr. Canino and his son.

She is now spayed, fully vaccinated, microchip, Heart Worm negative, loving, friendly.

She is a jewel, and he named her Lola.

She gets along with all people, all dogs, BUT NO CATS.

Come to meet this Girl, I know you will take her with you.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

We're so excited we had to tell you about Lola's journey.
As soon as we left the clinic we knew we had a special friend.  We opened the door to the truck and she jumped in, enterd her crate and laid down.  She slept for the next 3 hours, except for a short stop in the rest are where her curiousity got the best of her.
Upon our arrival at her new home she was immediately ushered intot the back yard to explore her new territory.  It didn't take long for Lola to "put down her mark", after 3 hours in a truck I guess you can't blame her.
We then learned Lola has played FETCH before, she has the fetch part down to a science, it's the returning part we have to work on and as she was running around and around all I could think of was a quote from the late Martin Luther King Jr.,  "FREE AT LAST, FREE AT LAST, I"M FREE AT LAST!"
Lola's next 2 obstacles were the screen pool enclosure and the sliding glass door, I'm not sure she was ever exposed to either by her attempt to walk through both.  But don't worry she's not hurt nor did she cause any damage, yet.
We then took Lola on a 1.1 mile walk around her new neighborhood.  The first 300 yards I felt like I was being drug by an Iditirod Sled Dog.  It didn't take any time for Lola to recall her time on a lead and the rest of the walk went better than we could have imagined.
We both want to thank you first for saving her life and now for bringing her into ours.
We will keep you informed of our progress together.
Please pass this on to the Rescue Vet and your wonderful staff .

Regards,
Bobby & Kathy
