CHIPLEY
"Roxie" ADOPTED!

Dog
Rottweiler
-

Size: Medium
Age: a puppy, a year old
Sex:  female
I.D:

CHIPLEY:

This sweet puppy was at Chipley, FL shelter.

Her picture was sent on the Internet to many. Several days went by after the posting of her picture and there was no one interested in helping her.

GGARR offered to take her in and she was driven by volunteers to Lake City to meet Grace Acosta.

Chipley was very scared, but in less than 12 hours at Grace's home she became the happiest puppy in the world.

She is spayed, micro chipped, all shots, rabies tag and hearworm negative.

You will love to have this puppy, she will give back to you all the love she has in her sweet disposition.

Come to meet her, you will go home with Chipley.

For information about CHIPLEY, please, contact Yoly Ramirez at YGRotts@aol.com or call her at 954-309-0115

On June 14th, 2013 Chipley aka Roxie was adopted. The next day we received this email from her.

Hi Yoly & Grace:

This is Roxie, I want to tell you about my new life. When we got home I was afraid to go into the house, they coxed me in with treats. We walked all over the house. I can go in any room I want anytime. I have blankets on the floor just for me. I have a bean bag, but I haven't warmed up to it yet. We walked all over the property with my leash on. We got to the Koe pond & I took a drink out of it. Mom & Pops laughed. I walked real good on the leash. As soon as I get better at coming to my name I wont have to wear the leash except when I go out in public. That will be scary, but by then I should be more used to people.

I'm learning to sit & stay & not run out when a door is open & not jump upon people. I was real good when a neighbor stopped by. They have a Great Dane, I'm looking forward to meeting her cause all dogs need dog friends to.

Pops went away & came back with a bag of stuff for me. Chew bones & tennis balls. I didn't know what to do with the balls, but now that I do it's fun.

When the TV came on it startled me, I barked & growled at it, they laughed and said it was OK,  I'll get used to it.

When they feed me I wolfed it down, When I wasn't looking they but a few pieces in my dish,so I'm learning I don't have wolf my food down, cause Mom & Pops don't like it and there is no-one else here to eat it but me.

Last night when they went to bed they decided to take a chance & let me have free rein. While they were sleeping I got a little bored. I moved a cloth coaster, a shoe, an Afghan, plastic bag, dish towel & a couch pillow. Nothing was hurt, just moved. When Pops saw it this morning he said I did a little redecorating, then put it all back. Today when no one was looking I moved a few more things. This time had to sit in front of the thing & they said that was bad. Pops bought me 3 stuffed animals at the flea market. I can use those to redecorate &  move them around all I want.

I hope you enjoy my letter. Please thank Janet for recommending my new home., and say hi to all my friends in the kennel.

Pat & Cork said you are welcome to check on me anytime. Sincerely Roxie Lughole.  I'll provide the snack's.
