CHICO -

Chico came to us in early August surrendered by his owner that had him since 8 weeks old, because his wife was pregnant and she did not want a Rottweiler in the house with a baby.
That Baby will never know how much he/she have been missing.
He came to Mueller SAD, angry, unfriendly, did not want to eat. Took a good month for Rei, Mueller Vet Tech to gain Chico friendship and they became best buddies and he starting changing his attitude.
Today a wonderful couple came to Mueller recommended to GGARR by Dr. Iglesias, Grace Acosta old Vet and friend with their 2 dogs.
They wanted to meet all the ones at Mueller and one by one they saw them all.
Chico sold himself so well.
Got alone great with their two dogs and with them too.
In the room, he jumped next to his new Mom and started licking her.
What a wonderful transformation.
And what a great Birthday present for me.
Many thanks to our dear GRC member and GGARR volunteer Lisa Mas for doing their home check.
You were right Lisa, very nice family.
72 Rottweilers adopted so far this and we are still counting.
Another Happy Endings dear friends.
Thank you God.

On November 19th his new family writes...
It is almost lunchtime on Monday. Chico has only been with us since Saturday afternoon but it might as well have been three months. He and our other two boys get along beautifully. Chico feels and acts totally at home. He sleeps on his bed right next to his humans' bed. He comes when called, he follows me everywhere, including the bathroom, his tail never stops wagging and he is very well behaved in every way. He is affectionate and loving. He climbs on the couch with me and licks me. What a life!!
Thanks to everyone involved in rescuing him and to Rey for changing his behavior while Chico was at the clinic. We think that this is a marriage made in heaven
