ACE:
I was born February 6, 2010. I am very pretty, loving and had a home once. My Dad bought me at 8 weeks of age and had me ever since.
Lately things went very wrong with him, lost his home in Foreclosure and also his job. He did not have enough money to buy the Heartworm meds for me. He had to move to a very tiny apartment and could not take me with him.
Then, he contacted Yoly at the Guardian Angels, sent her my picture. Yoly looked at me and told my Dad, YES, GGARR will take me.
He took him to Mueller Animal Hospital and I was neutered and fully vaccinated, I was already microchip, but they tested me for heartworm, I tested positive.
I have going now through the treatment without any side effects and I am looking for a new Forever Home.
My Dad told Yoly that I was housebroken, great with kids as his nieces and nephews were around me, OK with other dogs, even like cats.
Come to meet me, you are going to love me. I am a very good looking Rottie.

On November 6, 2012...

Just an update on Ace! He is doing well. The stairs are still a little scary, especially coming down but he's getting the hang of it. He's now sleeping between my husband and me in our king sized bed and seems very content to be there. As it turns out, he's fond of Shepherd's Pie. I only know this because of the third of it that was missing last night as I left it on the kitchen counter for about 5 seconds! He's quick! He's so darn cute, I couldn't even get made at him! I took him to my vet on Monday and everything checks out fine except for him being a little thin. He had lost about 2 lbs. which is to be expected with the new home etc. I also got his Trifexis monthly preventative for heartworms and fleas. This Thursday we will begin a 6 week obedience training course with Joan Quimby, who was recommended by Kathy Worcester. All in all, happy dog, happy owners! Take care, Karen
