Thor's story:
Introducing Giovanni and Thor! These two handsome 11 month old brothers were surrendered to the rescue when their owner could no longer provide care for them.
These two males are big already! Thor weighs in at 100 lbs; Giovanni weighs in at 106 lbs; and they still have some growing left to do.
Both boys respond to their names, know the sit command, and take treats gently. Neither of them enjoy car rides and vet visits are not their favorite pastime. They do, however, enjoy playing with their Jolly Balls and chasing each other around in the yard.
Thor can sometimes be a bit heavy handed with his brother, and Giovanni does not like it when his brother gets too close to him while eating or playing with his toys.
Both boys are neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
They show no aggression towards other dogs. They also show no overt aggression towards cats, but are very interested (cat testing was limited).
These males are big, powerful and "puppy clumsy"...they are not recommended for homes with small children, small dogs and cats. They are also not recommended for china shops!
Their training and socialization up until this time has been lacking and are therefore recommended for adoption to homes having breed and training/behavioral experience.
