Phoenix's story:

This 8 yrs old Rottweiler girl was pulled out of the Miami Dade Shelter by Yoly Ramirez, of Gulfstream Guardian Angels Rottweiler Rescue. Her original picture shows her at the shelter with a big tumor mass on her arm. This picture was posted by rescue volunteers on Facebook hoping for a rescue group to take her out. Phoenix had been spayed, she was tested for heart worms and she was negative. She now has all her shots and is microchipped.

Before PHOENIX was picked up the shelter veterinarian removed the tumor, and it is now at Mueller Animal Hospital in Hialeah, FL being sent for a biopsy.

I want to THANK the Miami Dade Animal Services for keeping PHOENIX alive for so long and willing to work with us to ger her out. We only hear the bad stories coming out of shelters, but this time we need to congratulate the veterinarian and workers at the Miami Dade shelter.
