Maximus's story:

Maximus has issues meeting new people and we are trying to work on this. He is now living with one of our board members who is an excellent dog trainer. He is a VERY loving Rottie boy once he gets know you. He is young and SO beautiful.

Maximus needs to go an experienced Rottweiler person who knows the breed well. He is ok with other dogs, including neutered male dogs. He will be very protective of his owner(s) and his home.

He eats well, no aggression. He grew up with a child, but is unknown how he is with other children. Maximus was kept at home since he was a puppy and was never socialized. He was never introduced to strangers, and so it takes time, maybe 30 minutes or less to learn that he can trust the person he is meeting with.

As seen in the pictures, he loves to play with the dogs at his foster home! He has become very attached to his foster parents already. He puts his big old head in their laps and just wants to be loved! And he enjoys long walks with his Foster Dad.

GORGEOUS young male, still considered a pup. He will be a wonderful dog in the right home.
