HELP JULIAN:

Julian's story:

Julian was taken into GGARR after his owner packed up the house and drove off leaving the dog behind on the screened porch. The dog was discovered four days later by the property owner.

Luckily Julian already had a Guardian Angel looking out for him in the guise of the next door neighbor who gave him food and water and contacted GGARR to arrange for Julian's rescue.

Julian is an 11 month old male Rottweiler. He is docked. He is very timid and shy around new people and takes some time to warm up to them. He is extremely leash shy and completely shuts down (won't move) when a leash is placed on him. He knows the sit and shake commands.

Julian doesn't appear to be food or toy aggressive nor does he have guarding issues. He takes treats gently sometimes and very enthusiastically at other times.

He gets along well with other dogs, large and small. He has not been cat tested. He has met several children and appears to get along well with them.
