ANNIE'S STORY:
When Annie arrived at the shelter she had her leg already wrapped and over there they continued wrapping for two days.
There is no fracture though! Annie has a huge wound that was caused by the bandage or got much worse because of the bandage she had on. That wound has effected a big part of the tissue damaging the muscle and the nerves.
Her major pain is due to that, her leg should have been left without the bandage.
We don't really know what this baby went thru, there is another wound that has already been healed. She had previous owners that prob took her to the vet for care but later decided to abandon her!?
She will be in the hospital for now, she has to have a cone and get the wound cleaned daily, she is on two types of antibiotics and pain management.
Dr. Moreno is concerned about nerve damage but her tissue is still very swollen, she is still a puppy and has some sensation on her paw. After a week we will consider skin graft to close the wound.
We will get an estimate, her care will be expensive!
Please donate to Annie's care!
