HELP CASSIE

She is a young less than a year old , very energetic and smart, she listens well, food and toy motivated, and very affectionate with humans, she is learning social skills when it comes to meet and be around other dogs. We don’t know yet how she is around kids, but to be safe children 10 and older. She is potty trained and hasn’t shown any destructive behavior. 

 This the new parent, couple or family that would the best fit for Cassie, who is interested in sports. Barn hunt, agility, dock diving, obedience sport, etc. 

She needs an experienced dog owner or handler, that has experience working dogs in prey drive. 

No cats, small animals would be preferred because of the prey drive, but it’s not necessarily a completely “no”, if they are experienced with handling this type of dog then integrating her into a house with smaller animals should be easy. 

Active family: does not mean nightly walks or a big back yard. This would mean hiking, paddle boarding, long long walks, and able to work her several times a week toward practicing her goals of whatever sport they choose. 

Work from home: preferably a family who isn’t going to kennel her longer than 2 hours consecutively. She needs to be mentally and physically worked and stimulated.

Cassie was brought from north Florida shelter to the Tampa Bay Area by an All breeds rescue organization, that later contacted GGARR to transfer her.
