Hand selected by Grace at MDAS, this boy was named Jose after the Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez. He was brought to Clint Moore to learn some manners after a couple of failed adoption tries. Jose had socialization and training at Clint Moore and flourished there!! He was adopted by a famiy from Georgia, who lives on a 20 acre horse farm. Every morning Joe (as he is now called) herds all the horses together ... then scatters them and does it again! He hikes for miles a day with his family and enjoys going along on the trail rides. Laura and her husband came to Ft Lauderdale this weekend to visit with her father, and naturally brought along Joe- they invited me over and we had a wonderful afternoon together! Joe is cherished and adored by his family beyond all dreams we could ever have had!! Tears of joy when I walked in and he remembered me immediately- I got the Rottweiler Whole Body Wag! Love this boy Jose!!!

Grace Acosta (President of GGARR) came to Miami from Gainesville for our Oktoberfest event and because she had not seen the BEAUTIFUL new MDAC, she went with Yoly and Isabel Jaraba for a Grand Tour. She got into a hall and saw a Rottweiler, nice young and friendly and told Joel Vera, MDAC Rescue Coordinator, "Joel, we are taking him and want to name him Jose".
Jose is ready for a new beginning and a Forever Home.
