ROXY:
I had a good home, but my
parents got separated, my Dad went to the US Army and
he needed to give me up. He contacted Yoly, we all met
in a Park and Yoly fell in love with me right away.
But, Yoly noticed that I was walking funny, my knees
bended close to the ground, she knew that I needed to
be checked. She asked my Dad to take me to Mueller for
X-rays (he paid for that) and what Yoly suspected
became a reality. My knees crucial ligaments were
ruptured and had to be repaired only through surgery.
It is a very expensive surgery, could you
imagine my two knees? That's why I was
in much pain and I was walking like that.
Right away, Yoly started working
on my behalf. She needed to find a Forever Home for me
even before I had my surgery.
Who would want a crippled dog? I was very worried.
Yoly found a Guardian
Angel who paid for my surgery.
My surgery was done on both
knees on July 10 and today July 26, I went to my
Forever Home in the Florida West coast.
My new Mom and new Sister drove
from the west coast this morning to Mueller with my
Godmother Pam Moran, a GRC member and I immediately
loved them all.
My new Mom and Sister lost a
female Rottie adopted from GGARR from cancer and
although she will never be replaced, I promise I will
give them all my love forever.
See me in these pictures, before
my surgery and with my new family.
Thank
you Guardian Angels
