GUARDIAN   ANGEL

It may sound ridiculous,  but it is right on time.
We  believe that something is  about to happen.  Angels exist, only  sometimes they  haven't got wings and we call them friends.

JASMINE:

I had a home and now I am homeless. My former Dad had no choice to surrender me to the Guardian Angels.
He lost his job, his home and had to relocate where he could not take me.
I am a wonderful loving girl, I love children and like other pets and I even think I wouldn't mind a cat either.
I am sad for loosing the home I had, but Yoly has promised me a new one that would love me forever.
I am going to be waiting.
Please come and meet me, I will never disappoint you.

Gulfstream GUARDIAN ANGELS Rottweiler Rescue
SOUTH FLORIDA

On July 25, 2009

So it has occurred to me that since Jasmine's surgery three months ago, everyone may not be updated on how well she is doing.  The surgeon was very pleased with the outcome.  Although the mass in her mouth had already spread into the nasal cavity, increasing the difficulty of the surgery during the 6 days between the initial evaluation and the actual operation, it came out with a margin of clean tissue around it suggesting that the entire mass was removed.  A follow up x-ray is scheduled for August to confirm no spreading of the cancer to the chest.  It will be 2 years before we can consider her "cancer-free."
Jas had to endure 4 long weeks without her ball, then finally a nerf ball was allowed, and then her coveted tennis ball.  She made her debut trip to Key West and enjoyed the luxury of chasing her ball around a private pool patio.  She has also learned how to swim in the ocean and is just overall happier, healthier and has a joyful demeanor we hadn't experienced before.  On the eve of her 1-year anniversary since she was adopted into our home, I felt it appropriate to share the encouraging progress she has made.
I hope this email finds you as happy and healthy as our not-so-little rescue.

With Love,
Lisa, Scott and Jasmine.
