Did you know you can register your rescue with AKC?  Most people do not know.

A purebred Rottweiler RESCUE can be registered with the American Kennel Club and enjoy the many AKC events available. 

If you have a purebred rescue Rottweiler with no registration papers, you can visit the American Kennel Club website at  http://www.akc.org/registration/ilp_program.cfm and to learn more about what the ILP is visit http://www.akc.org/registration/ilpex.cfm and read the requirements to obtain a INDEFINITE LISTING PRIVILEGE - ILP number for your dog.

Having an ILP number will allow you and your dog to compete in many of the AKC events available, except Conformation.  You and your dog can enjoy OBEDIENCE, AGILITY, & HERDING TRIALS.  YES! you can obtain an AKC TITLE on your dog.

Please, go visit ... and download an application and register your rescue dog. We encourage you to work with your dog and "show" your dog.  You will enjoy the competition and the excitment of working with your dog.

Join Gulfstream Rottweiler Club - www.gulfstreamrottweilerclub.org   Learn how you too can participate in the club events.   We urge you to train your rescue in OBEDIENCE and join GRC Obedience team.  GRC sends an obedience team to DOCOF - Dog Obedience Clubs of Florida - every year.  You can become part of the DOCOF team!!
