Champ has spent his 18-24 months on the end of a chain.
He has had no training, but in the short time he has
been with us, he has learned very quickly. He acted as
if he had never been inside a house before. Stairs,
appliances, different flooring surfaces, and furniture
were all new to him. After only four days, he's
bouncing around the house, going up and down stairs, and
he's now completely housebroken and crate trained. He
is a definite Alpha male, with gorgeous head,
bite, mahogany and shiny black coloring, and physique.
His tight feet are well padded, and he is antelope
limber. As an Alpha, he has some interesting forms of
communication. He insists on giving love nibbles, and
he loves snorting and rooting. (I will discuss other
habits with interested parties.) He snores, while he
sleeps next to the computer or the door, whichever is
cooler. He's getting his appetite back, and with
another 15 to 20 pounds, he will be magnificent. This
is a very nice specimen of the breed, and with a mature
and knowledgeable adult couple, adult single, or older,
more mature child, this guy would shine. He's fine with
other dogs, and possibly a cool kitty, but as an Alpha,
his theme is "Bring It!" If the other animal is
well-behaved, he will act accordingly, but another
animal's aggression will only trigger his exuberant,
join-in nature. He is parasite-free, completely
innoculated, and his scheduled neutering will make him
immediately available and ready for love.
