And last is Lisa THANKING GOD for this gift. Lisa, we all THANK YOU!

Special thanks to Dr. Pearson of Micanopy Animal Hospital who refused the breeder's order to put this puppy to sleep. To Louise Kutler of Sunkiva Kennels and a GGARR Rescue Coordinator for setting up a donation account and to all those who donated to save this girl.

To you all, this is the biggest gift I received for this CHRISTmas! Thank you and God bless you all.

Original story:
We were contacted by a veterinary clinic in Florida asking us for help to rescue this pup.  A girl 8 weeks old named ZIVA.  She was taken to the clinic by the breeder to be put down. The clinic asked the breeder to surrender the pup to them, they did not have the heart to put this tiny puppy to sleep.  One rear leg was obviously broken in two pieces.  X-rays were sent to Grace Acosta who forwarded the images to Dr. Emilio of Mueller Animal Hospital. He immediately diagnosed this as a nutritional issue. We did not know what this puppy had been eating.  We knew that we were going to take this puppy.
