HELP KRYSTAL:

Krystal's story:

This pretty and very lucky girl was named Krystal by a friend from MDAC who called Grace and Yoly as soon as she was picked up.

She was in terrible condition, she was dying. Yoly went to the Shelter and took her to Mueller Animal Hospital. She was completely covered with fleas.

As Yoly got to Mueller, Dr. Adriana started working on her. First, she got a tablet of Capstar to kill the huge amount of fleas that were sucking her blood. A blood work was done immediately and her Hemocrites that in a normal dog is 37, she had only 8. A stool test showed she was also packed with hook worms.

Heart Worm negative was her only positive. She was connected to an IV and a blood transfusion was given to her and a second one the day after. She was put in ICU. She weighted only 48 lbs. Poor dog was only skin and bones. She could not get any vaccines because she would have died of any reaction.

Little by little, this girl started coming back to life and today I must tell you that she has been spayed, fully vaccinated, microchip and very healthy and ready to go to a Forever Home she well deserves.

She is sweet and very docile. Come to meet Krystal, I'm sure you will take her home with you.
