HELP JUNO:

Juno's story:

Juno is a recent addition to the rescue. She is a 12-18 month old female Rottweiler. She was dumped in a mobile home park in Pasco County where she took up residence for several days in the car port of a good Samaritan. The good Samaritan contacted the rescue and asked us to take in Juno as she could not keep her and did not want to see this sweet girl go to an animal shelter.

Juno is a very sweet, shy, timid, calm girl who takes time to warm up to people. She has been in foster for several weeks yet she still shows some reluctance to activities like coming in from the yard, putting on a leash to go for a walk or approaching a person when called to them.

She knows the Sit command and walks okay on a leash. She is wary around adults upon first meeting them; she is nervous and uneasy when meeting children.

She is NOT recommended for homes with children at this time.

She has met many dogs since coming into the rescue and gets along okay with them. She has not been cat tested.

She takes treats gently and has not shown any food or toy guarding or aggression issues. She enjoys chewing on tennis balls, sitting in her opened-door crate and getting loved on. She will be available in late August.
