AVA'S STORY: 

Ava is a beautiful 6 year purebred Rottweiler with a docked tail, weighing 78lbs. She has lived with the same family since a puppy.

Due to personal reasons they are forced to re-home her. She loves all other dogs, she has never been with cats so that remains to be seen. She loves children, but she is too heavy handed with them and knocks them over.  She easily gets anxious and therefore we would recommend a home without too many visitors or young children where she can protect and love her new owners.

She is a good-mannered girl. Totally house trained, doesn’t chew anything that she shouldn’t, she sits and waits for her food and is not food aggressive. You can remove food treats with NO issue.

She does: sit, wait, down, come, paw, bed and definitely knows what ‘treat’ means! She walks well on or off the leash using heel and halt commands. She also knows to stay out of certain areas of the house (bedroom, laundry and second story) Does not go on furniture. UTD with shots, no health problems. She had both ACL’s done when she was young and has a glucosamine supplement to avoid joint issues, she is spritely and runs around like a puppy.
